36x36" Hand-rolled Hem Silk Twill Scarf, Double-Sided Print, Turquoise

This Turquoise Silk Scarf from The Cotton&Silk (Company) is lovely. I have worn it a few times, and received compliments each time.It isn't hard to tell, even from a distance that this is not your average shawl or neck scarf. The material is thicker than my other silky-feeling scarves, and sometimes come untied due to the slipperiness of them. That doesn't occur with this scarf. The material is soft, but not slippery, and the design has large cats and hibiscus flowers, and so many more designs that I am always discovering something new.It is big, at 36" x 36", so it is large enough to cover my shoulders in a shawl style. The colors are more muted than I expected, so it is colorful, but not vivid.The price point of $90 is rather high for me personally, so this was definitely a splurge for me, and since the price was high, Iam taking extra good care of it, storing it in the black box that it came in to keep in from fading and dust.The presentation with the thick black box was lovely. I have always been a fan of a well-made, pretty scarf and just had to add this to my collection.I realize this is not in everyone's budget, but maybe on your birthday, you can treat yourself to a lovely silk scarf from The Cotton&Silk. Lovely scarf with nice vibrant colors. The pattern is printed nicely and it is made of pure silk as advertised (at least as far as I can tell; a burn test on a single thread passed, and the feeling is right). I really like the tropical floral pattern and the jaguars.Keep in mind that the color appearance on the listing photos will vary between screens and between a screen and real life - it may be more or less vibrant than it appears on your device. I found it to be less vibrant than it was on my screen, but it was still nice and vibrant, colorful but not garish. I love it, thank you!

This is a beautifully, packaged, top quality silk twill scarf at a fraction of the price you can pay for better known brands. At this price I am much more likely to use it liberally. I can throw it into a purse just in case, or wrap it on the strap of a bag, or use it as a belt without being worried about how precious it is. The pattern and colors are gorgeous and vibrant. My favorite touch is the seagulls.I did find the listing confusing. It says cotton in some places and silk in others. There is a tag included though, not on the scarf itself but in the box, that shows it as 18 momme silk twill. I did a touch comparison to an hermes and it feels the same. It is too pretty to burn to be sure, but it seems to be 100% silk. (If the manufacturer reads this-please take 100% cotton off the bullet points!)

I was impressed by the quality of this scarf. It came in a very giftable box. Based on the look and feel of the scarf, the material is 100% silk, but I did not see any label confirming this. The print is very pretty. I got the Turquoise color, which is very pretty. The price seems expensive for a scarf, but it reflects the quality. I highly recommend this scarf!
